Hey fellow classmates...

Here is my 3D Shooter for MSU Course 3 - Bug Gate
I made it pretty easy so you can complete the levels and get to the boss fight and silly ending.

1. Created 3 different levels (planets)
2. Created a new input action and Sniper Scope Script for switching scopes
   • changes the field of view 
   • use the V key or Left Trigger on a Game Pad 
   • ps: scope mode is great for shooting down 'long range' enemies
3. Created additional scripts for modifying enemy spawning logic
4. Created scripts and logic for the Stargates/Portals and DHD (Dial Home Device)
5. Created some cool fog effects on the lakes and in canyons
6. Created 'Kill Zone' 3D Polygons using Probuilder for the lake
7. Created different skyboxes for each level (planet)
8. Added helper text/comments scripts and popups
9. Added music for each level and my own menu SFXs
10. Added Tips and Tricks button to give pointers and how to use the controls and scope feature

Objective

The Secret Master has asked you to save the galaxy from some nasty bugs. But first your must complete your training on three worlds. Once done, you can travel to the Masters home world and meet him.

   

Web vs Download Recommendation

---

I recommend that you download the Mac or Windows version to play. The Web version can take 1-2 minutes to load depending on your internet connection plus the frame rate can slow down for intense fighter scenes. Safari also has a few with WebGL. Thus, if you are on a Mac, I recommend the Mac App.

FYI - I signed the Mac version through Apple so you do not need to use the 'Coursera Security Mac Fix' to play the game. Just download the app and double-click to play.
